FIRST

Familyfirst was a Freelance Design job I did. I created a brand kit for weekly and monthly emails with partners, conducted UX research to find design pain points, and designed a new feature in Figma.

NEW FEATURE

I was asked to design a call feature for Familyfirst. The feature would allow medical professionals to call their patient’s family members to get them urgent and timely updates. This feature improves the current state of the app, which utilizes one-way messaging to provide updates to patient’s family members as well.

Design constraints & requirements:

  • Utilize the current brand kit

  • Create designs that can be seamlessly integrated into their current app

  • Only medical professionals can initiate the call

  • Family members of patients cannot unmute themselves on the call unless permission is granted by the medical professional

  • Family members must be notified that they are muted participants unless they are granted permission

  • Calls must be logged within the messaging thread

  • Family members must be notified of a missed call and that they cannot call back
